About the Role
Iono is developing adaptable, human-centric robots. As an AI Researcher, you'll explore and implement advanced models for perception, behavior, and real-world generalization—bridging deep learning with robotics.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Develop models for motion planning, vision, and human-robot interaction
Conduct research in areas like reinforcement learning, imitation learning, or multimodal AI
Prototype and test algorithms on real humanoid robots
Collaborate with engineering teams to transition research to deployment
Requirements:
Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in AI, Machine Learning, Robotics, or similar
Strong background in neural networks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
Experience with embodied AI or learning in physical environments
Publications or demonstrable work in relevant areas
Bonus: Familiarity with robotics simulators (Isaac Gym, Gazebo, etc.)

Your actual starting salary will be based on your qualifications and relevant professional experience. We are open to offering a market-based overpayment.
