About the Role
We bring humanoid robots into real industrial environments - starting with pilot projects and evolving towards scalable deployments.
As a Project Manager at Iono, you will be responsible for driving this transition from first use-case to reliable operation in production. You will work at the intersection of customer, engineering, and real-world deployment, ensuring that robotic systems are not only developed, but actually work in practice.
Your role is to turn industrial requirements into functioning robotic applications and to help scale them once proven.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Lead industrial robotics projects from initial scoping to deployment
Work with customers to define and refine real-world use-cases
Coordinate hardware, software, and on-site execution
Drive pilot deployments and ensure successful operation in real environments
Translate learnings from pilots into scalable and repeatable setups
Identify bottlenecks in processes, systems, or environments and resolve them with the team
Collaborate closely with engineering to align development with real-world needs
Requirements:
Experience in industrial environments, automation, or technical project management
Strong execution mindset with hands-on approach
Ability to work in fast-moving, uncertain environments
Clear communication with engineers, customers, and partners
Structured thinking combined with pragmatic problem solving
German and English
Bonus: Experience with robotics, manufacturing systems, or system integration

According to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we are legally required to state the minimum gross monthly salary for this position, which is € 3,724. Your actual starting salary will be based on your qualifications and relevant professional experience. We are open to offering a market-based overpayment.
